Youth radio project KICfm announced they were to lose their government funding at the end of March. We got a call to ask if we could get involved and use video to raise the profile of this great project and get the message accross that it's not just about learning about radio and skills, it's so much more.
This was a big project, we filmed for about 2 weeks in total and produced a short trailer to begin with...
A screening event took place at the Lighthouse cinema in Wolverhampton and massive publicity on BBC Midlands Today, ITV central and Facebook/Twitter. The project is still fighting to this day to secure funding to decide its future.
